Timeout

Sam's new thing is putting his animal toys in timeout. Yesterday he came to me and said, "The elephant's not being nice. He bonked heads with the sheep. He's in timeout." Then he opened the closet door, took the elephant out, and said enthusiastically, "He's gonna be nice now!!" Then the sheep was mean so he had to take a turn in the closet. He obviously knows why he goes to timeout in the closet. We don't have to do it often because he really doesn't like it but sometimes when he's in his mean mode and won't get out of it that's where he goes...until he agrees to be nice.
