Utah arrival

We arrived to Elk Ridge late on August 10th. Caleb's parents recently finished their basement with a kitchen and 3 bedrooms and so the timing was great for us to move in! It is really nice and big and it'll be great for the kids to spend lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa Baker.  It is 30-35 minutes to Provo so it's quite a commute for Caleb each day and for me when I want to go to MBASA activities (MBA Spouses Association) but we will see how it goes.
Mom had Anna's room set up for us to sleep in when we arrived Friday night. The next day was my birthday! We unloaded the truck with the help of everyone here (Rachel's kids had stayed the night and were a big help!) and our neighbor across the street, Mark.  I took off with Eliza to Shauna Dahlin's baby shower and had fun seeing her. That's about as good as my birthday got! Not gonna' lie, lamest birthday ever! But I'll have lots more so oh well. :) We did go out to eat on Monday as kind of a birthday celebration.

Caleb started MBA school at BYU Tuesday August 14^th. Well, orientation technically, but I count it as starting school. We picked out his outfit the night before and everything, just like you should do the night before the first day of school! I made him pause for a photo shoot. Isn’t he handsome??

 

When he got to the top of the stairs he asked if I was going to follow him all the way to school! Caleb keeps us laughing all the time.
