I have noticed that Sam is his happiest when he's either working or swimming. He also spends countless hours driving his motorbikes/trucks/cars around, riding his bike, etc. but when he's working (especially with his Dad) or swimming you can tell he is just on cloud 9. It's pretty cute. He's done both lately.
We met up with Rachel and her kids at the Sierra pool, and Anna came too.
He kept saying, "Can I go on the slide 4 times?" I'd reply, "YES!" Then he'd say, "Can I go 5 times!?!" "YES!" He couldn't believe it! haha I think he was worried we'd have to leave and I'd give him a limit on how many more times he could go. Apparently I didn't get any pictures of the cousins at the pool, but here's another recent one. Lunch with cousins! Jared, Samuel, Abish, Nephi.

A lot of people say Samuel looks like my Dad. He definitely has my Dad's trait of sticking his tongue out when he's concentrating.
He was in the middle of passionately explaining to me how to screw it in when I took this one.
Mom Baker is working on getting the landscaping and yard in here so Samuel
spends most of his time each day outside in the dirt. Sometimes working,
sometimes playing, but always dirty. REALLY dirty. He has to go
straight to the shower when he comes in from playing, so bath time is
now before dinner time. The yard will be great but Sam will miss all the
dirt and work!
This is the "short shovel." Caleb used it when he was little. Sam now claims it as his and loves to talk about how his Daddy used it when he was a little boy.
