We are trying to start more traditions in our family. They make life so fun and build unique memories and give you things to look forward to! Well we started a new one -- a new movie at Easter. This year it was "Up." We actually cheated and watched it Saturday night. We'd seen it once before and really liked it. Caleb and I shed some tears afterward as we talked about the movie and about life.
Sam and Daddy had to find the 20 hidden easter eggs Sunday morning before Sam could have his Easter basket. At first he was pretending not to see any eggs even though we knew he'd seen several around the room. I think he did that b/c he always hides and says, "Where'd Sam go?" and we pretend not to know where he is for a bit but he probably knows that we know where he is the whole time! So he was just doing what we do! Caleb showed him that there was candy in the eggs to give him extra motivation to find them and it definitely worked. :)
Our evening was spent on a google+ hang out with my parents and siblings. Everyone was there again. It is always so much fun. I love my family and love that Sam can get to know them better even when they're far away!
