Picture update

I thought Sam's feet would slim down one he started walking, but they're still as fat as they've ever been. I really thought he'd have to go shoeless for the next couple years, until I found a pair about a month ago with two velcro straps. That way you can make them as fat as you need! As you can see his fat kinda bulges up between the straps. :) What a little chunker. This is Sam's favorite sleeping position lately. Seems like it's gotta' be uncomfortable for his legs after a while!
Sam is still in love with his pacifiers. I had to take a picture when I saw him walking around with one in his mouth and one in each hand. What a crack up. He doesn't need them all the time but whenever anything is wrong his paci makes him feel completely better. Oh the power of the paci.
Sam and I had a fun time in Las Vegas with Steph, Eva, Leighton, and Dean!! Sam was pretty clingy to me for the first few days and didn't play with his cousins as well as I'd hoped, but of course just when it was almost time for us to leave he seemed at ease and comfortable there and had fun playing with the kids. The weather was awesome! Maybe even a little on the hot side, which was nice for a change. We played in the backyard, ate at Smashburger, watched Eva at ballet and Leighton at his ninja class, and went to the butterfly park for Sam's very first park experience (Sam spent most of the time chasing pigeons)!Monday was Memorial Day so Caleb had work off. We had the Cabreras, Stewards, and Southwicks over for hamburgers and then played bocce ball in the church field next door. After that we tried to play buzzword with them... for some reason every time we try to play that game with friends it goes horribly wrong (maybe our friends aren't the intellectual type??). We've decided it's the quickest way to end a party! My family rocks at that game and it made us miss playing with them.Sam figured out how to get the lid off the flour bin this morning... I let him play in it for a while since the damage was already done. :) He was trying to put the lid back on.
Last night we had a picnic dinner at Tiebreaker park... Sam's second park experience. Here he is with a mouth full of chips! He was more interested in the gravel than the playground equipment but it was still fun.
The day we left for Nevada was my last day watching Lola. Her and I played a lot of Uno those last few weeks. She's a cute girl and we'll miss having her over.
