Yesterday was my 26th birthday and Caleb made me a delicious yellow cake with chocolate frosting! I am now officially as old as him again.
There are at least 5 other kids playing out in our backyard at all times of the day. It's become the popular backyard for all the kids that live around here to come to because of the Newton girls. Sam loves having playmates and they are all so good with Sam. He also loves the neighbor's dogs. He often goes and sits on their back porch and pets and hugs the dogs. He's learned to be really gentle with them.
He loves to play around in the car. I remember loving that too when I was little!
He has recently discovered how cool the printer buttons are!
I said something to him about pushing the buttons and he immediately went after his belly button! He's learned now that button means more than belly button. :)
Daddy left his lunch box at home the other day so Sam walked around the house with it around his neck for a while, then stood by the door waiting for him to come home.
We are loving the weather... mid 80s during the day that then cool and breezy at night. Although I'm afraid the summer is ending all too quickly! We're going on a ward camp out tonight so hopefully we don't freeze.
