This past weekend we drove down to Monticello for Ryan Tobler's wedding to Marilyn Redd (and unfortunately I don't have a single picture!). We stayed at Cami and Tyler's in Provo Thursday night and Saturday night and were in Monticello with my Mom Friday night at a cute bed and breakfast. My Mom also rode with us to and from Monticello and Sam loved all the Grandma time! It was a really nice wedding and we loved seeing that side of the family. Sunday we went to church with Caleb's sister Rachel, then visited Matthew and Staci and then Josh and Stephanie before heading home. We made it home by midnight! Sam did great considering all the late nights. One of the definite perks of living in Idaho is being able to go down and see family so frequently. They are all great examples to us and it's neat to see how the gospel is blessing their lives.

Weddings
Our last two weekends have been spent at weddings in Utah! Although it's felt like a lot of driving we've loved being with family and friends. Two weekends ago we went to Logan for Brad Nelson's wedding, an Elder Caleb taught in the MTC. I always love an opportunity to go to Logan. I think it's so pretty there. There were a few other missionaries there that Caleb had taught in the MTC. They all admire and respect Caleb so much.
The day before the wedding Sam and I started throwing up a ton and couldn't keep even ginger ale down for about 4 hours. Then it passed and we both slept well and were fine in the morning. Luckily Caleb never got it and we were still able to drive to Logan early the next morning. They had a luncheon outside at a park which was great because Sam could just run around free. Then Sam fell asleep in the car so just Caleb went into the sealing. Sam is crazy about temples. He says "temple" perfectly and any building that's somewhat tall and anything that looks somewhat like a steeple is a temple. So he thought it was really cool to be there at the real temple.

Not sure if you can see Sam's road rash on his face... we drove home from Logan that night, and the next day Sam fell again (going out the front door) and hit his head on the concrete, re-opening the wound on his head. Then yesterday he was chasing his ball in his new shoes which may be slightly too big, and he fell right onto his nose and head again, this time luckily a different spot on his head. Poor guy!! Jeff drove up from Utah Saturday and we got to see him and have him stay the night. He is pretty much the same, just a little more grown up! It's great to have him home.
