We are still having amazing weather here in Idaho Falls! We haven't had to use our a/c hardly at all the last few weeks since it cools down quite a bit at night, but the days are still sunny and beautiful. It's the best of both worlds! For some reason I expected it to have snowed by now. I guess since the winter lasts so late into the new year I prepared myself for it to start early, but it really doesn't start until late November usually I guess. A new season is fun because Sam will have a lot of firsts. The other day on our morning run/walk we saw a tree that had all red leaves and some had already fallen off. Sam has never seen a RED leaf! May sound dumb but it's exciting for us first time parents. :) And snow and ice and all those winter things will be new. So we're actually looking forward to the winter this year!
We drove to Utah on Friday. It was somewhat pointless...grrr. We went to buy a car, and didn't come back with a car. Big decisions are really hard for Caleb and me! We definitely take our time. But we are getting closer! So we're enduring yet another week with just one car. Just kidding it's not that bad. I just take Caleb to work if I really want the car that day. But it WILL be nice to be back to two cars. Sparky has had a great life but it has come to an end. We did enjoy seeing changing leaves on the drive, and watching BYU come back and BEAT UTAH STATE Friday night! It was pretty exciting. We watched the game with Matthew and Staci and then stayed at their house, in my old room! Sam is a pretty good traveler and is good to adjust to whatever crazy sleep patterns those Utah trips bring. We loved our conference weekend and have new goals and are excited for the next 6 months.
We had fun being on google+ with my siblings and parents yesterday and having the Jones over for dinner. They shared their conference tradition with us which is chocolate dream dessert. Mmm... not sure if it was me or the baby, but one of us decided that might not be such a bad tradition! I'm 18 weeks today... we find out just two weeks from tomorrow what we're having!!
